Alright, here's how it goes.
I feel like I can update tonight.
But I need your advice on a situation.
Alright, my best friend, Maddie, dated this guy named Eric for about 9 months. During the later parts of the relationship, he confessed that he was in love with her. Maddie, however, did not feel the same way. She doesn't feel comfortable saying those words to anyone and, from then on out, she saw their relationship moreas a burden than anything.
They broke up a week before homecoming.
We are all good friends with each other. We all still hang out constantly. All of us. Maddie wants nothing to do with him, to be quite honest. She doesn't do anything with him unless someone else comes along as well. Eric swears to my other best friend, Jessica, that he doesn't like her anymore at all. Jessica has analyzed his actions and thoughts (they text a lot), and she believes that he is truly over Maddie.
I recently started like Eric...a lot.
I hung out with Eric one night, just the two of us. We sat next to each other on the couch and the chemistry was great. We kept looking at each other but nothing happened. So the next day, I text Jessica.
So, Jessica, being the best friend she is, starts texting Eric. She says something along the lines of "So I heard you and Caitlin hung out the other night. ...something going on there?"
And he said "No." And then a few hours later, he texts her asking "Does Caitlin like me?" and Jessica honestly didn't know if I did or didn't so she said she was unsure. After texting him for a while, she couldn't get him to admit that he liked me, but he said to her "I don't think I would date her because of Maddie."
Which, in my opinion, is bullshit. I think as long as its okay with the friend, Maddie in this case, it should be fine with both parties...but what do I know. Anyway, Eric and I still text and have been hanging off and on. I'm confused on whether or not I should pursue this potential relationship or just leave it where it was.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated. Now here is your update!

And you know what?
I'm not so sure I care.
My senior year is going, but things keep happening that bring me down.
I just got a D- on my apcalc exam, bad.
I am sick and can't seem to shake it.
and I'm not myself.
I'm negative. I'm sad. It's hard to get up in the mornings.
I'm losing motivation.
Both here and in life.
I might post this weekend, I might not.
Either way, don't get your hopes up.
